Privacy policy

This site is run by Michael Galvin ("we"). This policy explains what personal data we handle and why.

What we collect

• Nothing through the site itself. We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and the site has no accounts or forms. The power sizer runs in your browser and doesn't send what you enter anywhere.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may record technical data such as your IP address and the pages you request, for security and to keep the site running.
• Emails you send us. If you contact us, we'll use your email address and message to reply, and keep them only as long as needed.

Why we use it

We rely on legitimate interests (running and securing the site, and answering you) as our lawful basis.

Links to other sites

Links to retailers and makers take you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies. If a link earns us a commission, the seller or its affiliate network may set cookies on their site.

If this changes

If we add analytics or cookies, we'll update this page and show a notice and choice before using them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Contact us at info@howmanywatts.co.uk.
